Angela's House Children's Center
In 2025, I had the honor of painting the Children’s Center inside Angela’s House, Union Gospel Mission’s new home for women and children in Portland.
This space was created to provide safety, stability, and joy for families rebuilding their lives after homelessness, addiction, or abuse. Angela’s House triples UGM’s capacity to serve, offering 52 resident rooms, counseling, education, and activity spaces — a place where healing and hope can flourish for more than 2,000 women and children over the next decade

My goal with this project was to help create a warm, inviting environment where kids feel safe to explore, play, and dream.
Take a look inside Angela’s House! I shared a video tour of the Children’s Center on my Instagram so you can see the finished space and how it all came together.
